Documents have a way of catching up with people on vacation. A closing back home needs one more notarized form. A business partner needs a signed affidavit. A family member needs your consent letter before they travel.
Patricia meets resort guests in their hotel, villa or rental, or in a quiet spot in MonteLago Village. Tell her where you are staying and she'll confirm the details. Bring a current government-issued photo ID. A passport works well for out-of-state visitors.
Second-home owners
Owners who split the year between Lake Las Vegas and somewhere else often handle property and estate papers during their weeks here. Patricia can notarize deeds, trust documents, powers of attorney and other real estate documents at your home.
If you're only in town for a few days, call early in your stay. That gives you time to sort out a missing page or a second signer before you fly home. And if you need a document notarized for a trust or property back home, have your attorney's instructions with you.
Documents going overseas
Some lake residents and guests have family or business abroad. If your document must be used in another country, it may need an apostille after it is notarized. Patricia does apostilles too; see apostilles for details.
Apostille pricing starts from $290 for the first document, state fees included; the final price depends on where the document was issued and where it's going.
Simple steps
Patricia doesn't draft documents or give legal advice. Your attorney or the document's issuer does that. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, 1 to 6 p.m. Outside these hours? Call or text and ask.
