A Notary for Arts District Businesses and Creatives

Galleries, studios, vintage shops and small restaurants line the Arts District. When a business document needs a notary, Patricia comes to your shop or studio.

Business papers for small shops

The Arts District, also called 18b, is full of owner-run businesses. Owners sign things all the time: a lease addendum, an operating agreement for an LLC, a bank form, a vendor contract, a sworn statement for a license. When one of those needs a notary, closing the shop to go find one costs real money.

Patricia comes to your storefront, studio or office. See business documents for more.

First Friday brings crowds to the district every month. Pick a quieter weekday hour for the visit and the signing takes very little time away from customers.

  • LLC and partnership paperwork
  • Leases and contracts that call for a notary
  • Bank and vendor forms
  • Affidavits and sworn statements

For artists and freelancers

Creative work comes with its own forms: agreements with galleries or buyers, permission letters, and statements confirming who made a piece or who owns it. If the form has a notary section, Patricia can notarize it. She doesn't write contracts or give legal advice. An attorney or the party asking for the document handles that.

Shipping work or doing business abroad? A document headed overseas may need an apostille after it's notarized. See apostilles.

Make it a quick stop

Have the document complete and unsigned. Every signer needs a current government-issued photo ID and must sign in front of Patricia. If two partners are signing, plan for both to be there.

If the business is signing through an officer or member, that person needs to be the one with ID in front of Patricia. She notarizes the signer, not the company. Patricia speaks English and Spanish, if that helps your partners or staff.

Hours and fees

Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, 1 to 6 p.m. Outside these hours? Call or text and ask. Nevada law sets the notary fee for each signature, and the travel fee is agreed before Patricia heads out. Details are on the fees page. She also serves Downtown Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Strip.
